SRF Biotechnology job recruitment in Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes.
Project entitled :“Generation of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from buffalo fibroblasts through non-viral approaches”.
Qualifications: M.V.Sc./ M. Tech in Biotechnology, Reproduction, Physiology, Genetics having two years of research experience Or M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with NET qualification and having two years of research experience.
Desirable : Ph. D. Degree in above relevant subject/ working experience in cell/tissue culture and molecular biology.
Qualifications mentioned above are subject to following general conditions : (a) Master’s Degree should be in the relevant subject with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z-09/2012 of DST dated 21.10.2014. (b) Candidates having Master’s degree in Basic Sciences and have qualified NET and have 02 years research experience are eligible for RA/SRF at revised rates of emoluments. (c) The Ph.D. degree holders are eligible for both RAs/SRFs. (d) Graduates with three years Bachelor’s degree, who have acquired, professional Master’s Degree (3 years) are eligible for revised emoluments. (e) As regards, NET examination, any national level examination conducted by the Central Govt. Departments/agencies for admission to Ph.D. programme are considered as NET for the purpose of RA/SRF as per ICAR clarification.
Emoluments : Rs.28000
Age limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview
