Name of Project: Incentivizing research/ molecular approaches for maping of novel gene(s)/ QTL(s) for resistance/ tolerance to different stresses in Rice, Wheat, Chickpea and Indian Mustard including sheath blight complex genomics and resistance mechanisms

Qualification :Essential M.Sc./  M Tech/ M Sc(Ag)  in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Plant/ Crop Physiology with the condition thata) Bachelor’s degree should be of 4/5 years OR b) Candidate having 3 yrs Bachelor’s degree should be NET qualified. Desirable: Work experience in molecular markers and having basic knowledge on screening techniques for physiological parameter for abiotic stress. ( As per the new guidelines of ICAR, New Delhi)
