Job Description
Applications are invited to attend online interview for two Senior Research Fellows in DAHD funded Scheme/ project, as mentioned below. These positions are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for two different locations of the institute
1. Name of Scheme/ project: National Animal Disease Control Programme for Foot and Mouth Disease (NADCP on FMD)
2. Position & Place: One (01), Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (IT) at ICAR-Directorate of Foot and Mouth Disease, Mukteswar, Dist. Nainital, Uttarakhand -263 138 and One (01) Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (IT) at ICAR-DFMD-ICFMD, Arugul, Jatni-752050 Khordha, Odisha
3. Essential Qualification:
Master’s degree in computer application/ information technology/computer science/Artificial intelligence with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. OR Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Computer application/ information technology/ computer science/ Artificial intelligence with 3 years Bachelor's degree followed by 2 years Master's degree should have NET or any equivalent qualifications and 2 years of experience of working in research projects as mentioned in OM No. Edn.l6127l20l4IHRD dated l3th July, 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn./6/27/2014-HRD, dated 9th October, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/201 8 of DST dated 30th January, 2019
4. Desirable: Knowledge in data handling and analysis Knowledge in computer programming, apps preparation and website design and maintenance
5. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 35,000.00 per month for third year, if extended plus HRA as per ICAR guidelines
Age Limit:
Maximum 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates as on date of interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC category as per Govt./ICAR rules.
