SRF/Field Assistant Jobs opportunity Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI)
Name of the Scheme/ Project : 'Increasing Productivity and Sustaining the Rice-based Production System through Farmer FIRST Approch' EAP- 228
Senior Research Fellow /1 Post
Essential: Master Degree in Agronomy/Agricultural Extension / Extension Education/Agricultural Economics/Horticulture. OR Master Degree in Agri. Business Management/Economics with special paper in Agriculture with NET/GATE qualification and have 02 years research experience. OR Ph. D. in any of the above mentioned discipline. Desirable: Experience in Conducting Field Survey / Training program me / Field days/ Demonstration in farmers fields / Knowledge and experience of data analysis through relevant software and report writing.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + 20% HRA for 1st & 2nd year, Rs. 28,000/- p.m. + 20% HRA from 3rd year onwards as per rule.
Maximum age as on 01.01.2017 :35 yrs. for men and 40 yrs. for women.
Field Assistant / 02 Posts
Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture. OR B.Sc. in Botany with 02 years agricultural field experience in any reputed public/private organization. Desirable: Experience in Conducting Field Survey / Training program me / Field days/ Demonstration in farmers fields / Field data collection / and Working knowledge in computer.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,000/- p.m (consolidated)
Maximum age as on 01.01.2017 :30 years for Men and 35 years for women

The Institute has two research stations- Central Rainfed Upland Rice
Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, in Jharkhand, and the Regional
Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS), Gerua, in Assam. These
research stations were established to tackle the problems of rainfed
uplands, and flood prone rainfed lowlands, respectively.
