SRF-Senior Research Fellow

No. of Vacancies : 15

Qualification  :  1. M.F.Sc. in any discipline of Fisheries Science 2. M.Sc. (Life Science) 3. M.Sc. (Zoology)

Desirable :  (working experience in any one or more as given below) Experience in Fish or Shrimp aquaculture/Microbiology/Soil analysis/ Biofloc technology / Fish Nutrition / Fish Biochemistry /Algal taxonomy and Culture techniques/ Molecular Biology/Fish Processing & Quality Assessment / fish & shrimp health management/Fish Breeding / Statistical Data Analysis / Use of software including GIS and Remote Sensing

Research Associate

No. of Vacancies : 3

Qualification  :  1. With Doctoral degree: PhD degree in any discipline of Fisheries Science /Animal Sciences/ Life sciences 2.With Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in the above disciplines with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.

Desirable : Knowledge about fish & shrimp aquaculture

Pay : Salary of SRF and RA will be as per ICAR rules based on the qualification and experience

Age Limit:  Maximum age limit is 35/40 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
