Project Title : “Phenotyping of pulses for enhanced tolerance
to drought, heat and salinity”

Qualification :
Post graduate in Agriculture Plant Physiology / Genetics and
Plant breeding /Plant Biochemistry / Agricultural Biotechnology
Post graduate in any branch of Life Sciences* / PG in
Engineering with specialisation in Advanced Imaging
* Those who do not have experience in image analysis should
not apply
Desirable :
Experience in controlled environment facilities, screening
crop genotypes, & knowledge of computer operated greenhouse and its
maintenance Experience and willingness to work in field
Experience in image processing and knowledge of SCADA
system, controlled environment system
Emoluments : Rs.25,000/-
per month + 10% HRA for 1st & 2nd year while Rs.28,000/- per month + 10%
HRA for 3rd year
Junior Research
Fellow (JRF)
Project Title : “Combining field phenotyping and next
generation genetics to uncover markers, genes and biology underlying drought
tolerance in wheat”

Qualification : Post graduate in Agriculture or Plant Sciences
with Specialisation in crop physiology/ plant Physiology / Genetics and Plant
Breeding with minimum of 55% marks having valid qualified NET/GATE/LS/BET
Desirable : Experience
in investigations /screening crop genotypes for heat and drought tolerance
Emoluments : Rs.25,000/-
per month + 10% HRA for 1 st & 2nd year
Age Limit : 35
years for men and 40 years for women (relaxation in age as per GOI/ ICAR
norms). The age will be computed till the date of Test/Interview.
