Name of the Project :  ICAR funded Project 'Molecular approaches for mapping of novel gene(s)/ QTL(s) for resistance/ tolerance to different stresses in Rice, Wheat, Chickpea and Indian Mustard including sheath blight complex genomics and resistance mechanism(Component 4: Mustard)

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Master's degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Bio-technology/Molecular Biology/ Genetics or equivalent with 3/4 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree Must have NET qualification.

Desirable  :  Working experience on molecular tools in crop plants and Experience of working in breeding field crops.

Remuneration :  Rs. 25000/- p.m +10% HRA during 1 and 2'd year and Rs. 28000/-pm + 10%HRA during 3rd year

Name of the Project :   'Impact of Eucalyptus plantations on waterlogged saline ecologies in Indo-Gangetic Plains'

Qualification  :   Master's degree in Forestry/Soil Science/ Agfoforestry/ Agronomy/Environmental Sciences/Relevant Agricultural Sciences (M.Sc. degree completed with thesis work in partial fulfillment of degree program) with 4/5 years of bachelor's degree.  Candidates having post graduate degree in basic sciences (Environmental Sciences) with 3 years Bachelor's degree and two years Master's degree should be NET qualified.

Desirable :  Preference will be given to candidate with  Experience of working in forestry/Agroforestry plantation.  Well exposed to field and laboratory techniques for soil, water and plant analysis. Exposure to latest tools and techniques for assessment of socio-economic aspects.

Remuneration :  Rs. 25000/- p.m +HRA

Name of the Project :    DST (SERB) funded project on 'Methodology for real-time assessment of salt affected soils Ghaghar plain of Haryana using hyperspectral remote sensing'

Qualification  :    Master's degree in Agronomy/ Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/ Soil Science/Environmental Science/ Agrl. Physics Chemistry/Geology/Remote Sensing OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests -CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, UT, IISc, USER etc.

Desirable :  Experience in field survey and collection of soil samples.  Experience in handling and analysis of soil/plants by sophisticated equipments. Experience in handling software like MS-Office, ArcGIS, ERDA S/ENVI.

Remuneration :  Rs. 31000/- per month consolidated

Age Limit : 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of interview.
