SRF/JRF Life Sciences recruitment in NIAB
1) Senior Research Fellow /1 Post
DST funded project entitled “Development of peptide-based antiinflammatory drug for septicemia” (PI: Dr. Girish K Radhakrishnan, Scientist-E; Project Duration - 4 months) at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) with NET qualification or, Non-NET-qualified candidates with post graduate degree in Life Sciences can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
Desired Experience: Candidate with at least two years of experience in Protein expression and purification/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology will be given preference.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions).
Fellowship amount: Rs. 28000/-PM + 30% HRA = 36,400/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
2) Junior Research Fellow /1 Post
DBT funded project entitled “Development of injectable nanofibrous implant for oestrus synchronization in cattle” (PI: Dr. Pankaj Suman, Scientist-C; Project Duration - 6 months) at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) with NET qualification or, Non-NET-qualified candidates with post graduate degree in Life Sciences can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in molecular biology/Drug delivery system/ Nanotechnology /Gene cloning/cell culture technique will be given preference.
Age: 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions).
Fellowship amount: Rs. 25000/- PM + 30% HRA = 32,500/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
