Job Description
1. Name Of The Position : Senior Research Fellow (Project) (One Position only)
2. Duration : Six Months
3. Name Of The Project : “Integrative functional analysis flavivirus vaccine” funded by DBT
4. Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences with minimum two years of research experience in Virology/Immunology. The candidate should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’, as per DST OM dated 30.01.2019
5. Job Description: The selected candidate is expected to work on the systems vaccinology to explore the immunological signature of human vaccine. Most of the work will utilize PBMCs and serum as the
sample from individuals enrolled under controlled vaccination study. Interested candidate should have basic concepts immunology and expected to have skills in clinical research. Hands-onexperience in Flow Cytometery, Cell sorting using magnetic columns or FACS, human primary cell culture, PBMC handling, cloning, RNA isolation and quantitative real-time PCR is required. Candidates with hands-on experience in the human immunology research vaccines or virus infections will be preferred.
6. Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- per month+24% HRA (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019)
