Qualification : B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree or B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences/Biological Sciences with at least second division. (a) Post graduate degree in Vety. Microbiology/ Vety. Pathology/ Vety. Public Health/ Vety. Medicine / Animal Biotechnology with a minimum of 65% marks or an OCPA of 6.50 out of 10 / equivalent with two years research experience. (b) Post graduate degree in any relevant branch of life sciences / biological sciences/ pharmaceutical sciences with specialization in Microbiology / Molecular Biology/ Animal Biotechnology / Bacteriology/ Immunology with a minimum of 65% marks or an OCPA of 6.5 out of 10/ equivalent with NET qualification with two years research experience or Post graduate degree in professional course with 2 years research experience. Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level. The condition of knowledge in Punjabi is however relaxable if the candidate is found otherwise deserving.
