Job Description
SRF Metallurgical Job Opportunity in University of Hyderabad purely on temporary basis
Research project titled L“High strength spring steels with reduced low temperature creep for light weight designs (Steel4LTC)”
Essential qualifications: M.E. / M. Tech. in Metallurgical/Materials/Mechanical Engineering or B.E. / B. Tech. in Metallurgical/Materials/Mechanical Engineering with two years of relevant experience.
Strong fundamentals and core knowledge in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering are highly essential for this project.
Desirable qualifications: The potential candidates applying for these positions should be highly motivated to perform high quality research work towards the development of new steels, determining their microstructural details using advanced electron microscopic techniques, and evaluation of their mechanical properties.
This project has to be executed in collaboration with our industry partner, JSW Steels, Salem.
Therefore it may require some travel between JSW steels and University of Hyderabad during the project work. Candidates should be physically fit and willing to travel for experimentation purposes, if required.

Remuneration: Rs. 35, 000 per month and HRA (if eligible), as per DST norms
