Job Description
Title of Project: ICMR-funded project entitled “A study on detection of Fusobacterium necrophorum as an emerging etiological agent of acute pharyngitis and pharyngotonsillitis [project id “2020-0956]” under Principal Investigator, Dr. Srujana Mohanty in the Department of Microbiology
1. Name of Post: Senior Research Fellow

3. Essential Qualification: Post graduate Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology and selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC, NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
c) Plus Two years Research experience
4. Desirable Qualifications: Certificate course/ hands on Experience in Molecular techniques
5. Emoluments: Rs. 35,000 per month plus HRA as admissible
6. Total Project tenure [3 Years]: 1- year subject to extension
Age Limit:
Maximum Age Limit: Upto 35 years (Relaxation upto 5 yrs in SC/ST candidates and upto 3 years in OBC candidates)
