Essential Qualifications M.Sc. (Ag) in Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding & Genetics : OR M.Sc. in Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Plant Sciences With 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in DNA markers, DNA sequence analysis, SNP genotyping and data analysis, real-time PCR analysis, well versed with computer and statistical applications with an ability to analyse SNP and phenotypic data and demonstrated documentation skills.

Desirable Qualifications :Research experience with sorghum crop, experience in design, layout and handling field experiments, emasculation and crossing techniques, field evaluation, and biochemical grain quality analysis.
Pay Scale : Rs. 25,000

Essential Qualifications: B. Sc. in Agriculture OR M. Sc. in Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in raising sorghum crop, layout and handling field experiments and data collections and entry. Well versed with computer applications, and documentation.
Pay Scale : Rs. 13470
Age limit : up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR) upgraded from Directorate of Sorghum Research (DSR), is the central agency to work on all aspects of millets research and development under the auspeces of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). While the main centre at Hyderabad campus is principally engaged in both basic and strategic research on millets, region-specific research and services are organized through two other centres - Solapur in Maharashtra and OSN, Warangal in Telangana.
