SRF/ Project Fellow / Field Assistant Life Sciences job recruitment in National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB)
Project entitled “Genomics assisted pathobiology to identify novel targets for diagnosis and therapeutic intervention(s) of Japanese encephalitis and Leptospirosis”
Senior Research Fellow/2 Posts
Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course having NET/GATE or selected through national level examination conducted by DBT/ DST/ MHRD/ ICMR/IIT/IISC/IISSER.
The candidate should have minimum two-year research experience preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-09/2012 dated 21.10.2014 andSR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). However, Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility.
Fellowship amount: Rs.35000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.
Experience:Candidate with experience in Molecular biology and Immunological techniques, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, and animal (mice, hamster) handling is desirable. Candidates having prior experience in working withJEV and Leptospirawill be preferred.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
Field Assistant/2 Posts
Essential qualification: 10+2/Intermediate in sciences with at least 1 year of experience in large animal handling or diploma in animal husbandry.
Fellowship amount: Rs.20000/- PM consolidated.
Project Fellow /1 Post
Project entitled “Development ofnovel mucosal delivery system and testing its efficacy against Salmonella infection”
Essential qualification: Post Graduate Degree in life sciences. Candidates who are on verge of completion of their Master’s degree can also apply. NET/GATE is not required. Candidate with experience in Molecular biology and Immunological techniques is desirable
