SRF/ Research Associate Life Science job recruitment in National Research Centre on Pig (NRCP).
SRF/ 2 Posts
Qualification: Master's degree in the Life Science biotechnology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Master's degree should have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent National level examination conducted by Central Government/ agencies.( .(As per ICAR OM No.Agril Edn.6/27/2014-HRD dated:13.07.2015and 09.10.2015)
Pay Scale : Rs.25,000 +HRA for the first year and Rs.28,000 + HRAf or the Third year
Age: 40 years for men; 45 years for women
Research Associate /1 Post
Qualification: Doctoral Degree: Ph.D in Life Science/ Animal Science/ Veterinary Science OR Master's degree in life Science/ Agriculture / Veterinary Science with 4 years/ 5years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA,with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship, training/ other engagements. The candidates with 3 years Bachelors degree should have qualified NET/ GATE or equivalent National level examination conducted by Central Government/ agencies.(As per ICAR OM No.Agril Edn.6/27/2014-HRD dated: 13.07.2015 and 09.10.2015)

About Company
The
mid term appraisal committee constituted by ICAR in 1990 to review the
work of the All India Coordinated Centres on Pig recommended the
establishment of one National Research Centre on Pig preferably in the
North Eastern part of the country where 28% of countrys pig population
is distributed. Following the recommendation, ICAR approved the
establishment of one NRC on pig at Rani, Guwahati, Assam towards the fag
end of the IX five year plan. All existing AICRP centres were merged
with the NRC and the post of project coordinator was upgraded to the
position of Director.
