SRF/Research Associate Mathematics recruitment in BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus

Research Associate (RA)/01 Post

Qualification : Ph.D in Mathematics/Physics/Applied Mathematics OR having 3 years of research, teaching experience after ME/ M Tech in Mathematics/Physics/Applied Mathematics.  Desirable: Candidate should have specialization in Special Relativity and in General Theory of Relativity (e.g. Tensor algebra and some familiarities with Differential geometry) in M.Sc. Mathematics/Physics.Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidate will have opportunity to register for the Full time Ph.D. program at the BITS PILANI University.

Age limit : 35 years.

Remuneration : Rs.36000

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/01 Post

Qualification : (i) M.Sc. in Mathematics (with good Physics background)/Physics (with good Mathematics background) or equivalent and at least 2 years of post- M.Sc. research/teaching experience as evident from published papers in standard refereed journals OR (ii) ME/MTech in Mathematics/Physics/Applied Mathematics. Desirable: Candidate should have specialization in Special Relativity and in General Theory of Relativity (e.g. Tensor algebra and some familiarities with Differential geometry) in M.Sc. Mathematics/Physics. Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidate will have opportunity to register for the Full time Ph.D. program at the BITS PILANI University.

Age limit : 32 years.

Remuneration : Rs. 14000

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/01 Post

Qualification : M.Sc. in Mathematics (with good Physics background)/Physics (with good Mathematics background) with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA and passing of NET/GATE test. Desirable: Candidate should have specialization in Special Relativity and in General Theory of Relativity (e.g. Tensor algebra and some familiarities with Differential geometry) in M.Sc. Mathematics/Physics. Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidate will have opportunity to register for the Full time Ph.D. program at the BITS PILANI University.
