SRF/Research Associate Plant Science job position in National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) on temporary basis
Title : “Identification of genes contributing resistance to Alternaria brassicae from a nonhost plant and their characterization in Arabidopsis for durable crop protection against blight disease in Brassica rapa”
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) /01 Post
Eligibility: Candidate having M.Sc. degree (with minimum 60% marks) in Plant Science/Botany with 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience or equivalent are eligible for interview. Candidate having prior research experience in plant pathogen interection will be given preference.
Title : "Identification of host factors responsible for infection and development of nano-particle based dsRNA delivery system for imparting resistance to begomoviruses”
Research Associate: (RA-III)/01 Post
Eligibility: Candidates having doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in the discipline of Life Sciences (including Plant Physiology/Plant Pathology) with 2 year research experience or equivalent are eligible for interview. The candidates who have done quality post-doctoral work and have experience in plant disease resistance related projects using model plants are encouraged to apply.
