Job Description
One post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF Zoology) is available in the Division of Entomology in NASF funded
projects purely on contractual basis
Pay Scale: Rs. 31000/- + HRA per month
Age Limit for the positions is 35 years max. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and woman candidates as per Government/ ICAR guidelines.

Essential: M.Sc. in Entomology/ Agril. Entomology/ Zoology Entomology/ Plant Protection/life sciences/ Biosciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent (As per ICAR memorandum OM no. Agri.Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri.Edn./6/27/ 2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015and OM No. SR/S9/Z09/2018 of DST dated 30.01.2019)
Desirable: Knowledge of insect rearing, bioassay, microbial and molecular techniques
