Essential Qualifications: Master's degree in Entomology/ Nematology/ Plant Pathology Biotechnology/ Microbiology with 4/5 years bachelor's degree. 

Those with 3 years bachelor's degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NETGATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines OR Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines 

Desirable qualifications: Experience in Molecular microbiology. NGS based bioinformatic and metagenomic tools: proficiency in computer skills

Desirable qualifications: Experience in Molecular markers. GenecTL mapping. GWAS. Transcriptomics. Analysis and use of NGS. GBS & SNP genoty ping data.
