Job Description
Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati requires Staff Nurses to be recruited on ad-hoc basis.
Posts: Staff Nurse/No. of posts 10 (estimated only)
Eligibility :General Nursing & Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing with 2 years clinical experience in a 50 bedded hospital OR, Basic or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with 2 years clinical experience in minimum 50 bedded hospital.
Salary Rs.24,000/- (Rupees twenty four thousand only) per month
Appointment will be made for 6 - 12 months.
Age Limit:Below 30 years.

In 1958 at a public meeting in Guwahati, a decision was taken to set up a cancer hospital at Guwahati to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah.
