Job Description
- He / She will assist the Nurses in looking after the patients.
- He / She will update the Nursing Register, Doctor’s order, investigation for all admitted patients.
- He / She will collect the blood/urine/stool samples and provide the same to Lab technician as per order.
- He / She is responsible to complete pre-operative checklist and handover the patient to OT staff after taking/performing appropriate consent, procedure, cleaning.
- He / She is responsible to give Shift handover with 100% accuracy.
- He / She should be able to use various medical equipments required for patient care and provided by the hospital.
- He / She is responsible for updating the orders and going along with the doctor / consultants on patient rounds.
- He / She will have to co-ordinate and keep the consultant / RMO informed of the patient’s condition regularly.
- He / She is responsible to mobilise the patients in Post - Operative cases or as per the order.
- He / She will transport the patients to the various areas of the Hospitals as or when asked.

- He / She will run errands and carry messages.
- He / She will clean the medicine cart and keep the cart ready all the time as per applicable process.
- He / She will be responsible for informing pharmacy of return medicine on patient’s discharge or change of orders.
- He / She will render first aid to the patients when required.
- He / She will prepare dead bodies arrange their transportations to the mortuary and assist in terminal disinfections.
- He / She will do any duty which is required in the interest of the patients.
- He / She will be polite and courteous under all circumstances.
- Qualification: ANM/GNM (Registered Nurse)
- Experience: 1+ year
