Job Description
Providing bedside care, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitoring vital signs and patient conditions, and reporting any changes.
Performing diagnostic tests and procedures.
Assisting with examinations and treatments.
Providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care:

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.

Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes to doctors or senior nurses.

Assist with wound dressing, injections, and other medical procedures as directed.

Help patients with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and other basic care needs.
2. Medication Administration:
-
Administer prescribed medications, injections, and IV fluids as per the doctor's orders.

Ensure accurate medication dosage, timing, and patient safety.

Maintain records of medications administered to patients.
3. Patient Monitoring:

Regularly check patient vitals such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.

Observe patient responses to treatment and record changes.

Alert doctors to any changes in a patient’s condition or potential complications.
4. Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Document patient interactions, nursing interventions, and outcomes.

Prepare and update reports for patient care team meetings.
5. Support and Counseling:

Offer emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.

Educate patients and families about care procedures, medication administration, and health maintenance.

Provide basic counseling for patients dealing with stress, anxiety, or post-treatment recovery.
6. Infection Control & Safety:

Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases within healthcare facilities.

Ensure the safety of patients by adhering to healthcare safety standards and guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient care equipment and environments.
7. Coordination with Healthcare Team:

Work closely with doctors, senior nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.

Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on patient progress and care requirements.
