Job Description

Required staff Nurse for multi-speciality hospital with DNC registration . Hospital is situated in Rohini sector 15 Delhi we have ICU NICU working in several department .We want skilled staff nurse with Hindi English speaking with soft in nature good behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

Provide direct nursing care to patients including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, wound dressing, and assisting with mobility.
Observe and assess patient health status, noting any changes and reporting them to the attending physician or senior nurse.
Assist in planning and implementing patient care plans tailored to individual needs.
Support patients in personal hygiene and daily activities, especially those who are bedridden or incapacitated.

2. Medication Administration:

Administer prescribed drugs and treatments accurately and on time, following proper dosage and documentation protocols.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications and immediately report any abnormalities.
Maintain records of all medications administered to each patient.
Ensure safe storage and handling of medicines in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

3. Clinical Procedures and Support:

Assist doctors during medical examinations, minor surgeries, and other clinical procedures.
Set up and manage medical equipment, IV lines, catheters, oxygen supplies, and suction machines as needed.
Collect samples such as blood, urine, and swabs for diagnostic testing.
Prepare patients physically and emotionally for tests, surgeries, or transfers between departments.

4. Patient Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including treatment charts, nursing notes, and medication logs.
Document any changes in patient condition, treatment administered, and patient response.
Ensure all reports are complete and properly handed over during shift changes.

5. Infection Control and Safety:

Follow standard infection control protocols such as hand hygiene, sterilization, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Educate patients and families about hygiene, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of nursing stations, equipment, and patient rooms.
Participate in hospital safety drills, emergency response procedures, and fire safety programs.

6. Communication and Coordination:

Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure smooth and compassionate care delivery.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families when needed.
Coordinate with dieticians, physiotherapists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Communicate effectively during patient handovers to maintain continuity of care.

7. Shift Duties and Reporting:

Work in rotational shifts including night duties, weekends, and holidays as per duty roster.
Attend pre- and post-shift briefings and participate in staff meetings.
Report unusual incidents, patient complaints, and critical issues to supervisors immediately.
Support junior staff and interns, and participate in their orientation and training programs.
