Job Description
- Provide direct nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols
- Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration)
- Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation
- Ensure infection control practices and patient safety standards
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, surgeries, and treatments
- Handle emergency and critical care situations efficiently
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment and care plans
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of ward and medical equipment
- Coordinate with doctors, lab, pharmacy, and other departments
- Follow biomedical waste management protocols
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes
