Staff Nurse Job in Nesam Hospital at Salem

A staff nurse's primary role is to provide direct patient care and manage the nursing care of patients, while also supervising and guiding junior nurses.
Direct Patient Care:

• Assessment: Evaluating patients' physical and mental conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history. 
• Medication Administration: Safely and accurately administering prescribed medications, monitoring for side effects, and ensuring proper dosage and timing. 
• Monitoring: Continuously observing patients for changes in condition, reporting any deviations to the appropriate medical staff, and documenting observations accurately. 
• Wound Care: Providing wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for signs of infection. 
• Patient Education: Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventative measures. 
• Assisting with Procedures: Assisting physicians with various medical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. 
• Emotional Support: Providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, especially during stressful situations.
