Staff Officer cum Instructor  job Position in West Bengal Police

No. of Posts :  125

Qualification :  Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

Pay :  Rs.7100 - 37600 + GP 3600

Age Limit :  20-39 yrs

Application Fee  :  Application fee is Rs.20/- for SC/ST and Rs.270/- for other candidates. Fee is to be paid online by use of debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Selection Procedure :  Recruitment will be made through open competitive examination comprising of Four (04) stages. Competitive examination will consist of Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Competitive Examination and Personality Test.  Preliminary Examination will be of 200 marks and 90 minutes Duration. Based on preliminary examination marks, candidates will be shortlisted for Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates who got qualified in PMT/ PET test will be called for final Competitive Examination of 350 marks. Final Competitive Examination will contain three papers. A merit list will be made on the basis of Final Competitive Examination results, to called for Personality Test.

About Company

Bhabani Prasad Bhattacharya was born in Joydebpur, Dhaka. He Joined revolutionary organization in his student life. He went to Darjeeling in 1934 along with two other activists with the objective of assassinating the notorious Governor Anderson. They fired on Anderson in Lebong Race ground on  August 5, 1934. The shots misfired and all three were arrested. In the trial, one of the associates was released scot free for confessing his guilt, the second one was imprisoned and Bhabani Prasad was awarded capital punishment. He was hanged in Rajshahi Central jail on February 3, 1935. History will always remember him as a great patriot.
