Job Description

  • Supervise day-to-day activities of staff in the workshop/production unit.

  • Allocate tasks and monitor work quality and efficiency.

  • Ensure staff follow company protocols, safety, and hygiene standards.

  • Provide on-the-job training and motivation to the team.

  • Report attendance, performance issues, and suggestions for improvement.

  • Coordinate with management for daily updates and requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    1. Team Management:

      • Supervise a team of employees, ensuring that they meet company standards and productivity goals.

      • Assign tasks to staff based on skill level and workload, ensuring fair distribution and timely completion.

      • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance as needed.

      • Ensure staff follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

    2. Training and Development:

      • Provide training and orientation for new staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.

      • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills, performance, and knowledge of products, services, and safety standards.

      • Identify any performance gaps and implement corrective actions through coaching, additional training, or performance reviews.

    3. Scheduling and Time Management:

      • Prepare and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times and avoiding understaffing.

      • Approve employee time off requests and ensure compliance with company attendance policies.

      • Track employee attendance, tardiness, and leave records to ensure accurate payroll processing.

    4. Performance Monitoring:

      • Regularly monitor the performance of team members, providing ongoing feedback, setting individual goals, and addressing any performance issues.

      • Conduct performance evaluations and provide recommendations for promotions, raises, or further development.

      • Implement strategies to improve productivity and employee engagement.

    5. Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution:

      • Handle and resolve any conflicts or issues among staff in a fair and timely manner.

      • Address employee concerns and provide solutions that align with company policies and promote a positive work environment.

      • Act as the point of contact for staff when they face challenges or need guidance in their roles.

    6. Operational Efficiency:
