Job Title: Steward

Location: Hyderabad
Department: Food & Beverage / Kitchen Operations
Reports To: Head Chef / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

The Steward at Churrolto plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency in the kitchen and dining areas. They will be responsible for dishwashing, kitchen sanitation, and assisting the kitchen staff in ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, food prep areas, and dining spaces.
Dispose of waste and garbage safely and efficiently.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
Stock and replenish kitchen supplies and cleaning materials.
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.
Operate dishwashing machines and safely handle cleaning chemicals.
Support in setting up kitchen stations and organizing ingredients.
Assist in receiving and storing food supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Manager.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role (preferred but not mandatory).
Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy objects.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
