Job Description
The Steward is responsible for providing efficient and courteous food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and following hotel service standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables

Present menus and explain food & beverage items

Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar

Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally

Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and presentable at all times

Clear tables and reset them quickly for the next service

Handle guest requests, complaints, and special needs politely
-
Maintain hygiene, grooming, and service standards
-
Follow safety, sanitation, and hotel SOPs

Assist teammates during peak hours

Handle billing and payments if required
-
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service

Good communication and customer service skills
-
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays

Pleasant personality and well-groomed appearance
-
Team player with a positive attitude
-
Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass (Hotel Management preferred)
