Job Description

Responsible day to day operations of the stores are managed in accordance with good store keeping practices

Responsible for identification of product at all stages

Ensure adherence to all statutory compliances, maintaining receipts and returns details

Ensure optimum utilization of storage space

Implement processes to ensure store safety, ambience, cleanliness and facilities

Responsible for handling the accounting of the products stored

Maintain accountability of finished goods in the stores

Ensure timely and proper disposal of scrap material

Release of material as per the requirements from internal customers

Ensure First in First out (FIFO ) process is followed

Ensure no downtime in plant due to material

Responsible for effective inventory control and inventory management

Conduct and verify the accuracy of monthly physical inventories and valuations thereof in accordance with costing policy and procedures

Follow-up with respect to rejection, shortages and regular materials required for Production

· Quarantine damaged or defective items or return to vendors

· Responsible for customer satisfaction
