Store Executive
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Billing and Cash Handling

Operate the store’s billing counter and POS system to manage daily transactions.

Accurately scan or input products, generate bills, accept payments (cash, card, UPI), and issue receipts.

Ensure the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of each day.

Maintain accurate cash, card, and digital transaction logs.
2. Customer Service
-
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or answering queries about organic items.

Educate customers on product benefits, usage, and shelf life, especially for specialty or organic goods.

Handle customer concerns or complaints calmly and resolve issues or escalate as needed.

Build rapport with regular shoppers to encourage customer loyalty and repeat visits.
3. Stock Management and Inventory
-
Check incoming stock deliveries for quantity, quality, and proper documentation.

Update stock records in MS Access and ensure data is accurate and up to date.

Perform routine stock checks, expiry date monitoring, and inventory audits.
-
Alert the manager when items are low in stock or nearing expiration.

Help arrange stock on shelves in an organized and visually appealing manner.
4. Store Maintenance and Cleanliness
-
Ensure the store is neat, clean, and well-organized throughout the day.

Maintain hygiene and safety standards, especially in food product areas.

Assist in basic housekeeping tasks such as arranging products, restocking shelves, and tidying counters.
5. Computer and Software Use
-
Use MS Access to manage stock entries, generate stock reports, and support billing functions.

Use POS and basic Excel if required for transaction summaries or day-end sales reports.

Maintain digital and paper records of transactions, supplier invoices, and daily logs.
6. Coordination and Team Support

Coordinate with suppliers, delivery agents, or backend staff for stock replenishment.

Support fellow store staff during peak hours or busy days.

Participate in store meetings, product training sessions, and seasonal sale preparations.
