Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Store Helper to assist in day-to-day warehouse and inventory handling tasks. The Store Helper will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, arranging stock properly in racks, and repacking goods if required, all under the supervision of the Store Manager. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient storage area for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in loading and unloading goods from incoming or outgoing vehicles.

Arrange materials in racks and designated storage areas according to instructions.

Perform repacking of items when necessary to ensure they are ready for dispatch or safe storage.

Handle materials safely to avoid damage or loss.

Maintain cleanliness and order in the storage and loading areas.

Support in physical stock verification and inventory counts as directed by the store team.

Follow instructions given by the Store Manager or Supervisor for organizing, labeling, and arranging stock.

Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor immediately.

Assist in retrieving materials from storage as per the store issue slips or requirements.

Maintain tools and equipment used for loading/unloading in good working condition.

Comply with all safety and hygiene protocols within the store or warehouse premises.
Skills and Physical Requirements:

Basic understanding of warehouse/store operations.

Ability to lift and move heavy goods manually or with equipment like hand trolleys (within safety limits).

Attention to detail in organizing and labeling items.

Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently under supervision.

Basic communication skills to coordinate with team members.

Physically fit, punctual, and hardworking.
Educational Qualification:

Minimum: 8th Pass / 10th Pass
-
Basic reading and writing ability in local language or Hindi/English is helpful.
