Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail outlet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, managing staff performance, and achieving sales targets.
As the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive shopping experience for customers while driving business growth through effective planning, execution, and leadership. Key Responsibilities:
1. Store Operations Management:

Ensure smooth daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.

Monitor inventory levels and oversee timely restocking and replenishment.

Ensure all visual merchandising, signage, and product displays are in line with brand standards.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols in the store.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision:

Recruit, train, and supervise store staff including sales associates, cashiers, and support staff.

Assign duties, manage staff schedules, and oversee employee performance.

Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development.

Foster a positive work environment with high team morale and customer-focused culture.
3. Customer Service Excellence:

Ensure that every customer receives a friendly and professional service experience.

Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and effectiveness.

Promote customer loyalty programs and ensure consistent customer engagement.

Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction scores.
4. Sales & Revenue Management:

Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Monitor and analyze store performance metrics (conversion rate, average transaction value, footfall).

Develop and execute local marketing or promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.

Identify slow-moving stock and suggest clearance or bundling strategies.
5. Stock & Inventory Control:

Conduct periodic stock checks and physical inventory audits.

Minimize shrinkage and wastage by enforcing inventory control policies.

Manage supplier relationships and coordinate product deliveries and returns.

Ensure pricing accuracy and product tagging compliance.
6. Reporting & Administration:

Maintain records of sales, expenses, payroll, staff attendance, and other administrative duties.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to higher management.

Use POS and retail management software efficiently for all store operations.
7. Compliance & Policy Adherence:

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.

Enforce security, hygiene, and health & safety standards as per regulations.

Stay updated with retail laws and labor regulations applicable to store operations.
