Store Sales Executive
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement & Sales:
-
Greet customers as they enter the store, offering assistance and identifying their needs.

Actively approach customers to suggest products, promotions, and sales offers.

Provide product information and explain features, benefits, and usage to customers.
-
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
-
Meet or exceed sales targets by upselling and cross-selling products.

Product Knowledge & Display:
-
Stay updated on the store’s products, including their specifications, prices, and features.
-
Keep the store’s product displays attractive, organized, and aligned with store standards.

Ensure products are well-stocked, and inform the Store Manager when items need restocking.

Assist in setting up promotional displays or seasonal layouts in the store.

Sales Transactions & Inventory Management:
-
Process sales transactions accurately using the store’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
-
Handle payments, returns, and exchanges efficiently and professionally.
-
Ensure proper inventory control by scanning and tagging products, performing stock checks, and reporting discrepancies.
-
Maintain a clean and organized sales area to enhance the shopping experience.

Customer Service:

Provide personalized shopping experiences by building rapport and offering tailored recommendations.
-
Assist customers in finding products, checking availability, and arranging special orders if necessary.

Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating them to the Store Manager when needed.

Ensure a positive and friendly environment to encourage repeat business.

Promotions & Sales Targets:
-
Actively promote store sales, discounts, and loyalty programs to customers.
-
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals set by the store manager.
-
Assist in marketing efforts within the store to increase traffic, sales, and brand awareness.

Store Maintenance:
-
Ensure the store’s cleanliness and tidiness at all times, including sales floors, fitting rooms, and stock areas.
-
Perform basic housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and organizing product shelves.

Assist in product replenishment and organize back stock as needed.

Team Collaboration:
-
Work with the store team to ensure all customers receive top-notch service.
-
Support other team members in achieving overall store goals and sales objectives.

Participate in team meetings and share insights to improve sales and customer service efforts.

Reporting:

Provide regular updates to the Store Manager on sales progress, customer feedback, and stock levels.

Assist with reporting any technical issues related to POS systems or inventory management.
