Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for managing and organizing inventory, receiving and
issuing goods, and maintaining accurate stock records. Responsibilities also include
ensuring proper labeling, storage, and handling of items in the store. The incumbent will
prepare discrepancy reports and update inventory records accordingly. Additionally, they
must regularly update inventory software and maintain a clean, organized storage area
that complies with Fugro Safety Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment.
- Issue materials according to requisitions and schedules.
- Maintain accurate stock records, including levels, receipts, and issues.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with inventory records.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of items in the storeroom.
- Prepare discrepancy reports and update inventory records accordingly.
- Keep the storage area clean, organized, and compliant with Fugro Safety
Standards.
- Update inventory software regularly.
- Coordinate with the Procurement, Projects, and Logistics departments.
- Prepare inventory reports.
- Raise indents based on stock balances and threshold quantities.
Required Experience & Skills:
• A minimum of 05+ years of proven experience.
• Takes ownership and initiative, acts with confidence, and works under own direction.
