Job Overview
A Stall Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, sales, and overall management of a stall or booth during events, exhibitions, trade shows, or retail setups. This role ensures that the stall is well-organized, visually appealing, and delivers an excellent customer experience while meeting sales and promotional targets.
The Stall Manager acts as the primary point of contact for staff, customers, and event organizers, ensuring smooth operations and maximizing sales opportunities. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, proactive, customer-focused, and capable of managing a team under fast-paced conditions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stall Setup & Organization

Supervise the setup of the stall, display of products, and arrangement of promotional materials.

Ensure that the stall is attractive, clean, and properly stocked at all times.

Coordinate with event organizers, vendors, and logistics teams for stall space, furniture, and equipment.

Implement branding guidelines and visual merchandising standards to enhance customer engagement.
2. Team Management

Lead and supervise stall staff, including sales executives, promoters, and helpers.

Assign roles, responsibilities, and shifts to ensure smooth operation during event hours.

Train staff on product knowledge, customer service, sales techniques, and safety protocols.

Motivate and monitor staff performance to achieve sales and service goals.
3. Customer Engagement & Sales

Welcome and interact with visitors to promote products, answer queries, and guide purchases.

Identify potential leads, upsell products, and maximize sales opportunities.

Address customer complaints or issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
4. Inventory & Stock Management

Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products and promotional materials.

Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movement, and returns.

Coordinate with suppliers or central inventory teams for resupply and logistics.

Implement measures to minimize stock loss, damage, or theft.
5. Event Coordination

Liaise with event organizers, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.

Follow event schedules and coordinate stall activities according to program timelines.

Ensure compliance with event rules, safety regulations, and setup guidelines.

Organize demos, presentations, or contests to attract visitors and boost engagement.
6. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily or event-end reports on sales, customer interactions, and stock status.

Document any issues, incidents, or feedback from customers or staff.

Provide feedback and insights to management regarding customer preferences, sales trends, and operational improvements.

Maintain records of invoices, receipts, and financial transactions accurately.
7. Marketing & Promotion
