Job Title: Student Internship

About the Internship:

The program is open to individuals whose research work has an interface with Genome Engineering/ Editing Technology studies

Program Objective:

Provide opportunity to best and brightest Indian students and scientists to gain exposure and access to world class research facilities in leading US institutions.
Promote research and capacity building in the frontline area of Genome Engineering/Editing Technology.
Encourage and motivate outstanding students to take up research as a career path.
Pave way for the next generation scientists and technologists from India to interact with American peers,thus helping to build long-term R&D linkages and collaborations.

Eligibility:

Indian citizens currently pursuing Ph.D. on a full- time basis in various forefront disciplines of biotechnology (agriculture,health sciences,bio engineering,energy,environment,biomedical, fundamental biology or related allied areas) at a public- funded R&D lab/ S&T Institute /recognized academic institute/University/College in India.
It is mandatory that the theme of the applicant’s research work should have an interface with Genome Engineering /Editing Technology.

Age: Upto 32 years as on 31st December 2017.

Nature of Support:

Monthly stipend of $2,500 per month
Return Air Fare
Health Insurance of upto $500
Contingency of upto Rs. 50,000

Duration:6 Months
