Job Overview:
We are seeking a Studio Coordinator to oversee and manage educational video shoots, ensuring a smooth production process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for studio setup, scheduling, equipment management, and coordination between production teams, educators, and technical staff. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of video production.
As a Studio Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that recordings run efficiently, schedules are maintained, and technical requirements are met, contributing to the creation of high-quality educational content.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio & Equipment Management:
- Set up and organize the studio space for video shoots.
- Ensure all cameras, lights, microphones, and other production equipment are functional.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and coordinate any repairs or replacements.
Scheduling & Coordination:
- Plan and manage shoot schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
- Coordinate between educators, videographers, editors, and production staff.
- Ensure smooth transitions between sessions and manage time effectively.
On-Site Support & Supervision:
- Assist during video shoots by managing props, cueing speakers, and handling minor technical issues.
- Ensure all recordings meet quality and production standards.
- Monitor background setup, lighting, and audio clarity for optimal results.
Administrative & Production Support:
- Maintain logs of shoot schedules, footage, and backup files.
- Handle basic video editing, file management, and content organization (if applicable).
- Communicate with stakeholders about any production delays or changes.
