Designation - Subject Matter expert - Cement
Job Description
You will provide technical expertise to CCS projects during, pre-Feasibility, Feasibility, FEED and EPC stages
You will assess and select optimal configuration of the CCS facilities based on CAPEX, OPEX and technical feasibility
You will prepare or review engineering deliverables such as Heat and Material Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Cause & Effect diagrams, isolation philosophies, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP Studies & reports
You will support operation of future Carbon Capture plants, including troubleshooting, plant optimization and maintenance and repairs during major shutdowns/turnarounds and coordination of test runs
You will lead technical reviews, risk assessments and qualification of supplier designs and new technologies
Your profile
Must have 10+ years’ experience in Cement industry, experience with other industrial processes, such as power generation is a plus
Accredited – 4 year Chemical Engineering degree/Cement/Mining/Electrical/Mechanical
Experience working in project development, (Feasibility Studies) and execution; Commissioning and plant operation experience is preferred
Have a thorough knowledge of pyro processing and flue gas cleaning equipment design and operation
Possesses a strong knowledge of cement plant operations, specifically the kiln operation
Knowledge of alternative fuel combustion processes is a plus
Experience working with main cement plant equipment suppliers is a plus
