1. Subject Matter Specialist—Agrometeorology (SMS-Agrometeorology)

Number of Vacancies (Category & KVKs wise) : 11 (GEN-6, SC-1, ST-3, BC-1-1 ) KVKs (Bokaro, Chatra, Garhwa, Giridih, Latehar, Lohardaga, Pakur, Palamu, Sahibganj, Simdega, West Singhbhum)

Qualifications : M.Sc. in Agrometeorology/ Meteorology/ Agronomy/ Agriculture Physics (Preference will be given to candidates with Agrometeorology qualification)

Pay Scale :  Rs. 15600-39100/- Grade Pay — Rs. 5400/-

Age Limit : As per Jharkhand Government Rule

2. Agromet Observer

Number of Vacancies (Category & KVKs wise) : 11 (GEN-6, SC-1, ST-3, BC-1-1 ) KVKs (Bokaro, Chatra, Garhwa, Giridih, Latehar, Lohardaga, Pakur, Palamu, Sahibganj, Simdega, West Singhbhutn)

Qualifications : 10+2 in Science stream along with ilk basic knowledge of computer operations

Pay Scale :  Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade Pay — Rs. 2003/-

Age Limit :  As per Jharkhand Government Rule

Application Fee :  The candidates must enclose an original Bank Draft separately for different posts in favour of Comptroller, Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke, Ranchi. Payable at Ranchi. The amount of Bank Draft for SI. No. 1 for General/BC-I/BC-II candidates is Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 250/- and SI. No. 2 General/BC-I/BC-11 candidates is Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 125/-. The demand draft will be non refundable.
