Technical Assistants

Qualifications : (a) Master's degree (with at least fifty per cent marks) from a recognized university or an institution in Economics or Mathematics or Agriculture Economics or Commerce with Statistics as one of the papers or Master's degree (with at least fifty per cent marks) from a recognized University or an institution in Statistics: b) Provided that preference should be given to a person having an experience in collection, compilation and analysis of Statistical data in a Government office or a recognized institution on a post identical or similar to Statistical Assistant in the Economic and Statistical Organization, Punjab for a minimum period of one year OR a) Master's degree ( with less than 50 percent marks) from a recognized university or an institution in Economics or Mathematics or Agriculture Economics or Commerce with Statistics as one of the papers or Master's degree ( with less than 50 percent marks) from a recognized University; or an institution in Statistics ; and b) Should have an experience in collection, compilation and analysis of Statistical data in a Government office or a recognized institution on a post identical or similar to Statistical Assistant in the Economic and Statistical Organization, Punjab for a minimum period of three year.

Research Officer

Qualifications : a) 2nd class Master's Degree in Economics or Mathematics or Agriculture Economics or Commerce or Statistics from a recognized University. However, in case of Master degree in Economics or Mathematics or Agriculture Economics or Commerce, passing Statistics as one of the Papers shall be mandatory. (b) Should have at least two year experience in Economics Planning or Development appraisal or Evaluation or Monitoring projects or programmes of Development compilation or research work in Applied Economics or Statistics or in Designing and Supervising Socioeconomics surveys in a State or Central Government Departments/a Recognized University/Research Institution / Public Undertaking. OR a) Master's degree in Economics or Mathematics or Agriculture Economics or Commerce or Statistics from a recognized University. However, in case of Master degree in Economics or Mathematics or Agriculture Economics or Commerce, passing Statistics as one of the Papers shall be mandatory. b) Should have at least five year experience in Economics Planning or Development appraisal or Evaluation or Monitoring of projects or programmes of Development compilation or research work in Applied Economics or Statistics or in Designing and Supervising Socio-economic survey in a State or Central Government Departments/a Recognized University/Research Institution/Public Undertaking
