Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work closely with the purchasing team to identify and evaluate potential suppliers
2. Assist in researching and analyzing market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities
3. Assist in generating purchase orders and ensuring accurate and timely order placement
4. Help maintain accurate records of all purchases and related documentation
5. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies in material delivery or pricing
6. Assist in evaluating supplier performance through regular monitoring and feedback
7. Participate in supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives
8. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to purchasing
9. Support the team in reducing costs and achieving savings targets
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes and systems
11. Assist in other administrative tasks as required by the department
12. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strong attention to detail in all tasks
13. Comply with company policies and procedures at all times
14. Embrace a learning mindset and actively seek opportunities for professional growth and development
