Job Description
- Do you know that handloom sector in India is the second largest employer next to Agriculture? With sustainable practices becoming a need of the hour, the demand for Handloom products is increasing now. But, due to the unorganized nature of the sector for more than couple of decades it is plagued with problems like non availability of data, no established efficient chain of supply, several middlemen in the supply chain which has been increasing the foot print. If you are interested in this space and wish to be a part of an organization that is trying to change the way business is done in this sector do try your luck out.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and Analyze production capabilities of supply sources with respect to different categories.
- Identify and establish optimal routes and modes of transportation from place of supply to Bangalore hub.
- Similar with Bangalore hub to Clients location .
- Establish relationships with multiple logistics companies for different modes of transport .
- Optimize the turnaround time from receiving order to delivering order.
- Devise solutions and implement them to get rid of bottlenecks in the supply chain.
- Enthusiastic and up for working in a startup ecosystem .
- Good Analytical ability to understand and make sense of data .
- Agility and capability to deal with people at various stages of supply chain

The company aims at solving the problems of accessibility, quality and supply-chain efficiency of hand loom products. We work closely with weavers from 18 states and have a product portfolio of 3500+ SKUs of hand loom products. Our current clients are large retailers like US Polo,Future Group, True Blue, Okhai etc. We are on a mission to take Indian textiles to the world markets.
