Position - Senior Manager - Supply chain 

Profile -

• Responsible for Purchasing funciton of the entire plant right from Housekeeping items to mill stores like, inks, chemicles, adhesives, films, plates, varnishes, machine parts, Paper and Board stocks and anything and everything that the plant requires to function smootly as per planning given by the planning team
  
• Responsible for Store operations of upkeep of the store and maintainance of the stores operations with help of a 2 member stores team who will be reporting to him
• Responsible for new vendor development 
• Most important responsible for Cost cutting periodically depending on market fluxuations as well as by reducing prices using his purchasing skill 
• Responsible for intime connectivity of all material across all operations with quality and schedule to ensure ZERO production down time due to non availability of RM at any stage
• Ensuring rates prices of all supplies santitiy at any given point of time to be most competitive rate of purchase in the market
• Ensure minimum stock levels and avoid overstocking of any material
• Responsible for other consumables like Diesel or any other maintainance materials also requried by the maintainance team
• Up keep of all stocks at all times, in good condition
• Real time updation of Paper / Board / Mills stores and all other stocks at any time for immeidate reference to be implimented 
• As the individual will be dealing with purchasing worth crores - we are looking at some one who is very trust worthy and very efficient - hands to be very clean
• To impliment and be responsible for the safety and security of all store and other RM in the plant

There are plenty of instances of malpractices where the Purchase function personnel mix with vendors for kickbacks - hence sourcing these candidates will be a very tricky thing, please take care while selecting and sending candidates

Age : 35 plus

Experience : 10 years plus in related or same industry

Qualificaiton - Graduate a must , PG will be added advantage

Languages - should be very fluent in English, Kannada , Hindi 

Others - Should be having very good negotiation skills and most importantly should be able to take work pressure, Should be willing to work in late or early hours depending on job urgency

Location - Preferably Bangalore candidate as they need to know local places and people to coordinate, it will be a added advantage if he is willing to relocate to Kanakapura road
