Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on vendor management
2. Work on supply chain management
3. Work on the purchase & procurement of products in the form of purchase orders
4. Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of the final product
5. Implement and monitor the procurement strategies in order to meet the category goal
6. Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency of stock supplies.
7. Perform regular performance reviews with suppliers to drive continuous improvements through customer feedback
8. Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements
9. Ensure commercial, legal, and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions
10. Ensure RTV s are timely done and tracked
11. Work on the clearance of payment invoices
12. Handle new product workings for buying based on past sales of similar products
