Job Description
Designation: Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Be available for personal requests as necessary
2. Act as gatekeeper for incoming calls, requests, and meetings
3. Assist with maintaining schedules and vacation schedules for the team
4. Responsible for the forecast and product availability through weekly stock replenishment
5. Take independent action on handling requests
6. Coordinate data from a variety of sources for inclusion in reports and presentations
7. Administer the departments) record-keeping system
8. Draft confidential correspondence & edit documents
9. Coordinate and manage calendars and requests for meetings
10. Answer and direct telephone calls, take messages, and respond to questions regarding activities associated with executives' position
11. Prepare and distribute supply chain monthly forum documents
12. Identify and act on areas for operational improvement and supply chain cost reduction
