Job Description
Act as customer’s local interface within own area.
Network operations service as per defined SLAs.
Preventive and Corrective maintenance of Nokia HLR, HSS
Assist in execution of Care, O&M tasks typically within own area. Troubleshooting on site
(Nokia HLR, HSS or MSS, MGW etc)
Perform local SW (or HW) maintenance activities such as installation & test of
technical/change notes /change deliveries
Technical activities such as SW upgrades and technical audits on site.
Assist in Network expansion activities.
Implement parameter in the network elements’ subsystems.
Feedback and co-ordination with other service business lines (like Network Planning, System
Integration)
Assess and mitigate risk of Core Network changes to ensure minimal service or revenue
impacts. More specifically this would involve performing network impact assessment and
developing a test regime to mitigate exposure.
Knowledge on core products HSS, HLR, MSS, MGW
Experience in HLR, switching system, knowledge and exposure to different
switching networks, call tracing, signalling, HSS, HLR interfaces-protocols, telecom
standards and implementations.
Maintenance, Integration or Commissioning of HLR, HSS etc and integration with
other nodes and acceptance testing.
Experience in other vendor soft-switch products and Cisco certifications like CCNA
and CCNP
