Key Responsibilities:
1. Pool Surveillance and Safety Monitoring:

Continuously monitor pool areas and swimmers to prevent accidents and identify potential hazards.

Stay stationed in assigned zones with full focus and minimal distractions.

Watch for signs of distress or dangerous behavior and respond immediately when needed.
2. Emergency Response:
-
Perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR in case of emergencies.

Activate Emergency Action Plans (EAP) and coordinate with emergency services when required.

Ensure safe evacuation during incidents or facility shutdowns.
3. Rule Enforcement:
-
Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.

Politely but firmly correct unsafe or inappropriate behavior (e.g., running on deck, diving in shallow areas).

Communicate clearly with guests regarding safety policies and procedures.
4. Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness:

Conduct routine checks of the pool, water quality, and safety equipment.

Assist in maintaining pool deck cleanliness, organization of rescue equipment, and proper signage.

Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or broken equipment to the supervisor.
5. Recordkeeping and Incident Documentation:

Maintain daily activity logs including pool attendance, incidents, and equipment checks.

Accurately complete incident and injury reports as required by facility protocols.

Participate in regular drills and training sessions to ensure emergency readiness.
