Employment Type: Full time (remote position)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems software and related infrastructure cloud environment based on AWS
  
• He will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the Cloud System
  
• Participate in software and system performance analysis and tuning, service capacity planning and demand forecasting.
  
• Evaluate, respond to, and resolve service issues; design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence.
  
• Design systems monitoring and management solutions using automation and self-repair rather than relying on alerts and human intervention.
  
• Suggest enhancements and escalation concerns appropriately to diagnose and remediate underlying system problems and inefficiencies.
  
• Work closely with the development team to support requirements and release schedule.
  
• Ensure version and change control procedure adherence.
  
• Database administration, maintenance and backup.
  
• Manage Web apps deployment and updates.
  
• Manage security-related aspects of the infrastructure.
  
• Participate on a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  
• 4+ years of experience in the same position
  
• Linux Experience is a must
  
• AWS (EC2, S3, API/CLI, VPC, IAM, ElastiCache).
  
• Ubuntu Server administration.
  
• Shell scripting and automation of routine tasks.
  
• Database administration (MongoDB and MySQL).
  
• Webserver management (Apache and Tomcat).
  
• Clustering experience is a plus.
  
• Load Balancing experience is a plus.
  
• Windows Server administration is a plus.
  
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is a plus.
  
• Firewall, WAF, IPS, IDS experience.
