Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our IT team. The System Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. This role ensures that IT services and systems are stable, secure, and performing optimally across the organization.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and experience with various operating systems, servers, cloud platforms, and security protocols. As a key member of the IT team, the System Administrator will support both day-to-day operations and long-term technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System and Server Management:

Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT infrastructure.

Monitor server performance and perform regular maintenance and upgrades.

Manage system resources such as memory, storage, and CPU usage to ensure optimal performance.

Set up new hardware and replace or upgrade outdated components when necessary.
2. Network Administration:

Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Ensure network security and availability through firewall configurations, access controls, and monitoring tools.

Configure and monitor VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
3. Security and Data Protection:

Implement and maintain system security measures including user access controls, firewalls, antivirus software, and patch management.

Perform regular backups of systems and data using automated tools; test restoration procedures regularly.

Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective measures.
4. User Support and Help Desk:

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to employees and resolve system-related issues.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems efficiently and in a user-friendly manner.

Onboard new users by setting up accounts, email, permissions, and devices.
5. Software Installation and Management:

Install, update, and manage licensed software and enterprise applications.

Ensure compatibility and integration between different systems and software platforms.

Maintain software compliance by managing licenses and renewals.
6. System Monitoring and Optimization:

Use monitoring tools to oversee system health and performance.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks, outages, and capacity issues before they affect operations.

Generate regular reports on system performance, usage, and potential improvements.
7. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, processes, and procedures.

Log and report technical incidents and resolutions in ticketing systems.

Assist in the creation of user guides and training materials.
8. Collaboration and Projects:

Work with cross-functional teams on IT projects, migrations, and rollouts.

Participate in planning for upgrades, system redesign, or new technology adoption.

Provide input and technical expertise for system architecture and network improvements.
